Pre-Sale end on February 22nd
Before beginning, let me be very clear. I AM all for women’s rights and being treated equally.
I am a 27 year old single mother. My daughter, Marlee (3) and I live in our home, with our dog, Sadie and out bunny, Bobby. Her father, Kip was taken from us far too soon, which has forced me to become dependent on myself. I view myself as a very independent female. From 18 months old I have raised my child, alone, while building and running a business (I am also a stay at home mother) I do NOT rely on anyone but myself to pay my bills or put food on our table. I’d kinda like to think of myself as the definition of an independent woman (kiddddding)
With that being said, I will begin.
Yes! I do know the meaning of the slogan “The Future Is Femal” and YES, I 100% agree with the meaning behind it. But, at some point in time I feel as if, perhaps, we have lost sight of what it truly means. The fight is to end oppression! Not to oppress men!
”The future is female does not mean female over male, nor is it trans-misogynist. The future is female means that we will no longer live in a world that believes that hierarchy and zero sum games are the only viable forms of social organization. It instead offers up the alternative that each person has something unique to contribute to the world, and therefore our job as an interconnected is to create space for each person to be their best and most authentic self so that they can contribute their gift.”
Personally, I don’t like the slogan. I think it’s a bit of an aggressive statement. (This is my opinion, people! So don’t get your panties in a wad. Mmmmk?)
For me, personally, the slogan is telling everyone, men, women, trans, etc. that THE FUTURE IS FEMALE and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it! Boy bye! cuz you are no longer relevant.
That little boy you see playing on the playground, yeah, his future is of little importance, because the future is female. It is telling my future son that he has no place on this earth, because he’s living in a woman’s world, now. (Again, I am speaking from my point of view)
The meaning behind this shirt is that ALL HUMAN LIFE IS VALUABLE! Whether you be male, female, transgender, gay, strait, black, white, pink or green. YOU ARE VALUABLE! AND YOU ARE OUR FUTURE!
